| Here's What Breeders are saying about Jak..... |
|
"Being able to go from Live Cover one day to AI the next tells a lot about a stallion's personality. Jak is my favorite to collect because he has a good temperament and gets right down to business." - Dr Fitzgerald Steinbeck Country Equine Hospital "I've always dreamed of having a foal..... ever since my life-long dream of owning a horse came true, when I got my mare, Scarlett about 13 years ago. I mentioned the desire to breed Scarlett to a friend of mine - her suggestion was Jumpin Jak Flash+++//.
Since the day I
first laid eyes on Jak, I knew, without doubt, he was the stallion
with whom I would breed my mare, Scarlett. His elegance, demeanor,
and composition took my breath away.
When I saw him in motion, it was clear that he had a natural (and
beautiful) sense of dignity about him that was captivating.
Even when handled on the ground, I had to remind myself that this
was a stallion - and a young one at that! His manners
were impeccable! It was obvious that he had brains AND beauty.
Since this was my
first breeding, it's been nothing short of a wonderful
experience getting to know the breeder, Liz Carlin. Since Liz has
plenty of experience breeding - not only her own mares, but others
as well, she comes with a wealth of information for newcomers
like myself. Liz always goes by "the book" and is equally
cautious of the well-being of both the mare and the stallion. I
have learned a great deal from Liz during this process and
especially appreciate all of the pre-breeding tips she's given
me along the way. Liz has always been great about returning
calls and answering emails. Additionally, Liz is just as excited
about the coming of another of Jak's foals as the owner of the mare!Because we're
such big fans, we even took a special trip to Arizona in 2004 just to
see Jak do his thing at the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show!
Boy, did he ever! I can't wait to see the foal - without question, it
will be a SuperStar!" -Yvette Killingham expecting a
foal in 2007
"Late 2003, I acquired a lovely old style Trakehner mare of impeccable bloodlines. However she was very heavy boned and not of what the modern breeders are looking for anymore. With this in mind, I began my search for a stallion to complement her athletcism but refine her somewhat to create the ultimate sport horse. I can't tell you how many videos I looked at of various Trakehner stallions and some Arabs. Since the Trakehners have a strong influence of Arabian blood what better to cross my mare with an Arab stallion! Then one day I picked up a copy of Equestrian Connection with Jak's picture on the cover. It was a perfect fit. The resulting colt is "Fawzi", which means winner in Arabic. This colt is truly a winner and will be following his parents footsteps in the dressage ring. Fawzi is a laid back, mellow sort of guy that takes it all in stride. He is a stunning chestnut with lots of chrome and will surely stand out in a crowd. Overall, the experience of breeding my mare to Jak and my dealings with Carlin Arabians has been a pleasure. Liz Carlin continually keeps in touch and it seems that Jak's family is ever growing with offspring as well as owner/breeders." -Cathy Garello breeder of Fawzi H/A Trakehner SOLD for $,5000 as a weanling "I met Jak just before his training began
and watched his beautiful elastic movement as he floated around the ring
at liberty. There was no question that breeding to him would give
suspension and flash to a foal. I bred a grey Arabian mare to Jak
and they produced a kind and inquisitive bay
colt with flashy markings and incredible
movement. Jak of Hearts (JJ) "Jak has put alot of, I want to say, expression in Mysha (Mesoflashy). Her head is really nice, Ali (her dam) is very plain, no dish, whereas Mysha does. She is very sweet, likes lots of loving, and is very easy to teach. I am very satisfied with the breeding, I have a really nice filly, which I hope will go into Dressage or Endurance. Mysha loves to run, lots of extension, next year will be very interesting. She is very solid, lots of substance. I bred to Jak because of his substance (bone), elegance and his great disposition as Ali (her dam) is pretty hypher, but she can work a cow!" -Kay Fish breeder of Meesoflashy "I have had the pleasure of breeding both of my mares to Jak, unfortunately one of those mares cannot carry to term, but for live cover Jak was quite thegentlemen. I have known Liz now for four years and it has been a delight working with her and getting my new foal RMC Flash Gordon ready to be registered with the Arabian Horse Association. I have been blessed this year with two colts and Gordon is the FLASHIER of the two by far, he is a wonderful mover and loves to get attention from everyone. I would recommend Jak to anyone who is looking to produce a nice flashy performance horse. It is obvious that Gordon is going to be out there cleaning up in the ring as soon as he can. This has been a wonderful rewarding experience breeding my own horses". -Kirsten Henry Breeder of RMC Flash Gordon, Owner of Ecurie's de RMC
